I've never had a tarot reading and even though I'm curious, I'm nervous. What if I receive information I didn't expect? It's natural to be nervous for a tarot reading, especially if you've never had one before! Even if you're excited and looking forward to your reading, there can be some nervous anticipation that shows up as 'butterflies'. Prior to every reading, I set an intention that the information I receive for you is for your highest good, and I set up a boundary that nothing can come through other than that. One way to think of the messages you receive are to imagine what it would feel like if you received communication from a loving source that only wants the best for you, like a loving parent or friend. The messages I channel and information I get from the tarot cards are like this, and are here to support you in positive and comforting ways.
How do readings work? Do I ask questions, or will you guide the reading for me? Some people have concerns about particular situations in their life, so they ask specific questions. When this is the case, I pull cards and channel messages to get as much detailed information as possible about their questions. Other times, people ask me to do their reading without a specific question to see what information comes through without any prompting. For these readings, I recommend working with a timeframe such as the upcoming several weeks, months, or even a year or two into the future. This is so we can know the timeframe for when the information you receive will be relevant. Either type of reading is fine! If you aren't sure, we can talk about it and figure out what you prefer before beginning your reading.
